File Folder Cards

Today I'm showing my file folder cards.  I got the idea and how to from Patty Bennett .  I love how simple they are to make and it's a nice new style of card.  By the way, everyone needs to get the new envelope punch board, it is here under new arrivals in my store.  Happy shopping!

I used the Halloween Bash set item # 130577/130580, in wood or clear mount.  I also used the Witches' Brew Designer Series Paper, item #132185 $10.95, and the Witches' Brew Designer Washi Tape, item #132156 $4.95.  The base card is made with Very Vanilla card stock, item #101650 $8.50 for 40 sheets.

On this card I used the Petite Pennants Builder punch item #122361 $16.95, the Pennant Parade stamp set item #128697/122742, Christmas Messages item #131790/131793 and the Season of Style Designer Series Paper item #132340 $10.95

Calm Christmas

This is from the Stampin' Up!© set called Calm Christmas.  It is in the new Holiday catalog.  I love the dove, I am a bit of a bird freak but this design is so simple and pretty that I'm very fond of it.  The original image has the bird with a twig in it's beak which I cut off to make it easier to cut the bird out and then I just glued on a white bakers twine bow.

Recipe:  Calm Christmas
Ink:  Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake
Card Stock:  Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Whisper White and Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack.
Tools: Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval punch
All supplies can be purchased in my online store

Stampin' Up! Convention 2013 Samples by me

I was so happy to be chosen to make some samples for Convention 2013 and now that Convention is over I can share some photos.  This card is a Cascade card made with the new in-colors.
I added as much bling as I could to jazz it up!  Lots of floral fusion sizlit flowers and of course the blossom punch and bird builder punch.....it was fun to make.
This second cascade card uses the new Ronald McDonald set Tag It. Also Delicate Doillies,
the Pansy punch and Flower Shop stamp set.  Small butterflies are peaking out here
and there too!  Pearls, Rhinestones, and buttons embellish it.

Mojo Monday 301 Challenge card

Happy Friday!  I love the new tea set that Stampin' Up! has in the new catalog this year and that's what I chose to use for this challenge.  I used Coastal Cabanna, Whisper White, Smokey Slate, and Eastern Elegance designer series paper and card stocks.  The Tea Party stamp set, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder and a sneak peak at Stylish Stripes embossing folder from the soon to be out Holiday catalog.  I used both of our butterfly punches, the oval framelits, and the oval piercing template.  Lots of fun to make this one and I love the colors.
All of these awesome elements can be purchased here

PPA162

I decided to try the PPA color challenge this morning and the colors used are Crumb Cake, Real Red and Pacific Point.  Bright and fun for the 4th of July.  On my card, I also used some glimmer paper for the stars and tiny bit of a strip to spice it up a little.  The set I choose to use is Bootiful Occasions. The stars are punched from retired Stampin' Up! punches.  I just couldn't let them go, I love my punches.  The stamp set and card stock including the glimmer paper can be purchased from my Stampin' Up! store

Another Timeless Treasures card

I am in love with the Stampin' Up! set Timeless Treasures.  It's been fun playing with it.  I used Coastal Cabanna, Crushed Curry, W White, & Eastern Elegance Designer Series Paper.  The Stylish Stripes embossing folder (sneak peak from the new Holiday Catalog), the 2.5" circle punch, the 1.75" circle punch and some bling was added with some candy dots and a small rhinestone in the center of the wheel.  To purchase elements to make your own timeless treasure shop Stampin' Up!

Timeless Treasures

Happy July 3rd!  I spent some time in the craft room this morning playing with my new Timeless Treasures set.  I love the telephone in it.  It's such a cool old phone.  I also used some Modern Medley designer series paper from Stampin' Up!   The base card is Crumb Cake and the layers are Vanilla, Smokey Slate, Black, & Crumb cake.  I also used some of our new candy dots to add a bit of bling to the card. It's pretty masculine but maybe next time I can change it up with a layer of pink instead of slate.  I forgot to mention that I also used the Gorgeous grunge set for some back ground interest.

Mojo Monday Sketch #300

This is my sample card for the Mojo Monday sketch #300.  I used the sets Timeless Talk, and Feel Goods.  The designer series paper is Modern Medley.  I also used Stampin' Up!© punches, Itty Bitty punch pack and the 2.5" circle punch.  Vanilla  and black card stock and a pearl for some bling.  It was fun putting this together.

By The Tide

This is the first time for a couple of things.  First off, I started this blog many moons ago and then it went by the wayside the way that some things in life do.  Today I will make the first post and it is show casing my first triple time stamping.  The stamp set is By the Tide from Stampin' Up!©.  It's a fun set and me and my husband both enjoy fishing so I used this set to make his Father's Day card from.  Enjoy!
Ps...linen thread, a jump ring and some burlap
